Before the end of the year, xScape Theme Framework 1.8 will be released. There will be no new features in this version, but I am working on massive framework optimization and speed up. Framework will use much less memory, it will have smaller influence on WordPress loading. There will be few more bug fixes and minor changes.
Next beta version of the plugin is coming early next week with number of bugs fixed. This will include solving some compatibility issues, some extra optimization, fixing templates problems and few more things.
As a part of WordPress 3.3 update cycle, new minor revision of GD aZon FUSION is coming in the next 3-4 days and it will have few compatibility fixes and support for new Spanish Amazon (amazon.es).
New major revision of GD Press Tools is coming next week. It will include improvements to debugger tracker, network integration, database panel improvements, cron scheduler improvements, brand new modules panel and few more things. Also, several more bugs are fixed.
Due to the recent changes with the Amazon AWS API, GD aZon FUSION can’t get products from Amazon any more. Minor revision is coming in the next couple of days to fix this issue and update Amazon SDK to latest version.
New major plugin version is coming very soon. It will bring several important new features: Yourls integration, date based archives and templates loading for custom post types, plugin core improvements and much more. Plugin will be released before the end of this month.
First beta version of our new plugin will be out tomorrow. The only major feature remaining after this release is advanced filter for products. Other than that, all the functionalities are completed as planned for 1.0 release. In the next 4-5 days, advanced filter will be completed with few more improvements.
GD Products Center will soon get its first Beta version, most likely start of next week. Compare pages will be completed, integration with xScape theme framework, product type pages. Work is in progress on the advanced filtering, and basics for that will be in Beta 1. Templates panel will have more info, and will be usable for some things.
In GD Custom Posts and Taxonomies Tools 3.2 Pro we had a new permalinks structure for the custom post type and intersection of archives for custom post types and taxonomies. But, now we are going one step further. Custom post type archive can now have URL that filters by terms in more than one taxonomy, with an option to set up order of taxonomies.
New 3.2.2 version of the plugin will be released on Monday.
After the first alpha release, work on this new plugin is going well, and I am finishing rewriting parts, adding more base templates, improving theme integration. Next release will be out tomorrow. I am preparing the video walk-through for some time this week.
